Shopify App Developer

Local / Remote Full Time

We're looking for a developer with hands-on Shopify app experience to help build and maintain our suite of Shopify apps. You'll work directly with the founding team, ship real features, and see your code used by real merchants every day.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain Shopify apps using Node.js and the Shopify API
  • Develop frontend interfaces with React
  • Integrate with Shopify webhooks, ScriptTags, and the Admin API
  • Debug and resolve merchant-reported issues quickly
  • Write clean, maintainable code with an eye on performance

What We're Looking For

  • Solid experience with Node.js and React
  • Working knowledge of the Shopify ecosystem — apps, themes, APIs
  • Familiarity with Shopify CLI, Polaris, or App Bridge is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of features
  • Good communication — you'll need to explain technical decisions clearly

Open Ruby on Rails React Shopify Full Stack

Full Stack Developer

Local / Remote Full Time

We need a full stack developer comfortable working across the entire product — from the Rails backend to the React frontend to the Shopify integration layer. You'll own features end-to-end, from database to deployed UI.

What You'll Do

  • Build backend APIs and services with Ruby on Rails
  • Develop merchant-facing UIs with React
  • Work with the Shopify Partner API, Admin API, and app ecosystem
  • Design and maintain database schemas and background jobs
  • Participate in code reviews and help maintain engineering standards
  • Contribute to architecture decisions as the product grows

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience with Ruby on Rails — MVC, ActiveRecord, background jobs
  • Comfortable building React frontends — hooks, state management, API integration
  • Experience with Shopify apps or willingness to learn quickly
  • Good instincts about when to keep things simple vs. when to invest in architecture
  • Self-driven — we are a small team and expect you to take ownership
