What's New in Discount Saved Message
Important: Discount Saved Message displays savings from your existing Shopify discounts and compare-at prices. It does not create discount codes.
Who Each Plan Is For
- Basic ($2/month): Product page savings, message styling, placement, percent/amount/both display.
- Pro ($5.99/month): Everything in Basic plus cart, checkout, thank you savings and analytics.
- Free (Developer): For Shopify partner and development stores while you build and test.
Both paid plans include a 5-day free trial on the App Store.
Setup: Theme App Extension (All Merchants)
- Install Discount Saved Message from the Shopify App Store.
- Open the app → Setup Guide → open the theme editor.
- In App embeds, enable Discount saved message and save your theme.
- Go to Settings → Product page → enable and customize your message.
Setup: Cart, Checkout & Thank You (Pro)
Cart page
In Settings → Cart page, enable cart savings and customize the total savings message. The message can auto-place above cart line items, or you can add the Discount Saved cart block in the theme editor.
Checkout page
Enable checkout savings in Settings, then open the Shopify checkout editor and add the Discount Saved Checkout extension after cart lines.
Thank you page
Enable thank you savings in Settings, then in the checkout editor → Thank you page, add the extension in Main, Order summary (after cart lines), or after customer information.

Yes. On product pages, savings recalculate when the selected variant changes.
Do I need to code anything?
No. Enable the theme app embed and configure settings in the app admin. Pro checkout uses Shopify's checkout editor.
Will cart savings show in the ajax cart drawer?
Yes, on supported themes the app places the message in cart drawers and cart pages when cart savings are enabled.
